Free, for the first edition, the new medical application for professionals.

The main purpose of the application “PH-Painless Hospital” is to streamline and simplify the management of post-surgical pain within surgical wards. This application makes it possible both the creation and the use of analgesic customized protocols, and it offers a large choice between protocols at fixed times, continuous and peridural-perinervous, and finally it makes it possible to report the used device (and thus to control the consumption).
With PH application it is possible to set the dose – save-dose for the pain and save-dose for P.O.N.V., which have to be considered as actual prescriptions. During post-surgical operation period, both the control and the pain record are simplified by the movable device that, containing all inmates information, will be transferred in the ward and thus it will be used to measure the pain (pain scales NRS, VRS, etc.). Moreover, it is possible to record the side effects and, during the monitoring and the statistic phases, relate them with the use of several protocols.
The application we conceived and realized, with Dr. M.Massetti’s scientific advice (Dr. Massetti is anesthetist) is perfectly suited to the management of a comprehensive database of surgical inmates and a continuing review of the protocols adopted.

PH (Painless Hospital) is an iPad’s application that allows the complete management of a surgical inmate from the operating room to the ward.
Through PH it is possible to:

1. apply suitable protocols to the operated inmates (such protocols can be chosen between those already present within the application or you can create some new and costumized protocols);
2. customize the post-surgical analgesia with all drug choice of F.A.N.S., opioids, local anaesthetics, adjuvants, paracetamol, etc.;
3. choose between “fixed time” protocols, “intravenous” protocols, “peridural-perinervous” protocols;
4. choose the device for continuous infusion;
5. set the “save-dose” in case of pain;
6. set the “save-dose” for side effects (nausea, vomit, itching);
7. monitor the pain through N.R.S. scale (numeric rating scale) which offers a range from 0-no pain to 10-strong pain;
8. record the side effects as nausea, vomit, itching, hypertension, etc.;
9. maintain a complete database on pain management in all surgical inmates.

Soon to be released the FULL version, which includes printing, sending e-mail and data transfer to other platforms functions.
